Another win! Last week, the depleted and injury-cursed Timbers beat an also depleted and injured FC Dallas 2-0 to start an actual winning streak. Adi finally found his scoring boots and put away one of his traditional braces while Valeri was a few hairs (the ones on his arm in particular) away from slamming the goal of the year into the back of the net. On the defensive side, with the help of a Zarek Valentin goal-line clearance, PTFC managed a shutout despite losing both Ridgy AND Miller to injuries by the 60th minute. Okugo and Olum filled in admirably and saw out the Timbers third clean sheet of the year while Chara and Zemanski manned the midfield.
