Here we are at the Forecast again, after earning a quality, but ultimately disappoint point in Dallas. If you missed it, the match had goals to go around, finishing 2-2. The Timbers twice took the lead, 1-0 and 2-1, on an Adi header(!) and Blanco’s first goal of the season. Unfortunately, both times, they conceded an equalizer, once to former Timber Urruti and once to Tesho Akindele. Playing without Valeri, scoring twice on a team that had conceded no more than once per game at home is certainly an accomplishment, as is coming away with a result. But having given up the lead twice, it ended up feeling empty.
