The Portland Timbers traveled to Seattle to take on the Sounders for the fourth time this season, drawing the club 1-1.
Both teams started the match at a high pace. Seattle pressed high early but Portland grew into the match.
Portland and Seattle went at each other at a frantic pace with both teams having their own individual spells where they looked like the most dangerous team. But it was the Timbers who opened the scoring.
After some great hold-up play by Felipe Mora in the Sounders’ box, the Chilean passed the ball to Yimmi Chara.
