PORTLAND, Ore. – With the help of local community partners and the City of Portland, the Portland Timbers, Portland Thorns FC and T2 will present their sixth-annual Stand Together Week from June 4-10. The comprehensive, week-long community initiative supports dozens of nonprofit projects and volunteer opportunities across the city.
On May 31, the City of Portland officially will proclaim June 4-10 as Stand Together Week, while the state of Oregon also will issue an official proclamation on a date to be determined.
Stand Together Week, with the help of Hands On Greater Portland, will consist of 30 volunteer projects and more than 1,000 volunteers, benefitting more than 20 organizations focused on youth and the environment across the Portland metro area.
