PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Timbers today announced their preseason schedule, presented by Old Trapper Beef Jerky, for the 2019 MLS campaign, with the Timbers set to make trips to San José, Costa Rica, and Tucson, Ariz., for preseason training, playing six matches during that span.
Beginning preseason training on Tuesday, Jan. 22, the Timbers will train in Portland through Jan. 30, when they depart for Costa Rica to begin an 11-day training camp at Complejo Deportivo Fedefutbol Plycem, home of the Costa Rica Football Federation. While in Costa Rica, the Timbers will face Deportivo Saprissa on Monday, Feb.
