Portland Timbers fans are helping a Columbus Crew supporter that flipped off the camera following the Timbers' MLS Cup championship win in Columbus in December travel to Portland to see the Crew play the Timbers on March 6.
A GoFundMe page raising money to bring Savannah Bee to Portland for the March 6 home opener raised more than $500 in twenty minutes Friday with many of the donations coming from Timbers fans.
By Friday afternoon, the page had reached its goal of raising $1,500.
Bee gained attention last December after she was shown on television flipping off the camera as MLS Commissioner Don Garber thanked Columbus Crew fans for their support.
