Portland Thorns FC defender Katherine Reynolds announced her retirement from professional soccer on Friday, marking the end of her 10-year career.
Before joining the Thorns, Reynolds played for the Western New York Flash (2013-14) and the Washington Spirit (2015). She is ninth all-time in the NWSL in games played (129), 10th in minutes (10,817), and 11th in games started (120 starts). She also helped lead Western New York to a NWSL title in 2013. She also played for the Philadelphia Independence and Atlanta Beat in Women’s Professional Soccer and also spent time overseas in Germany and Australia.
