PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Thorns FC stretched their unbeaten run to 12 games and forward Nadia Nadim had a goal and an assist as the home side came from behind to dispatch Sky Blue FC 2-1 at Providence Park Saturday evening in front of 14,287.
Sky Blue opened the scoring first in the 30th minute as forward Tasha Kai slotted home a goal after a mad scramble in front of the Thorns net.
Eight minutes later, Dagny Brynjarsdottir headed home a perfectly placed corner kick from Nadim and Portland had equalized.
