Dairon Asprilla had a goal and assist plus strikes from Larrys Mabiala and Sebastián Blanco gave the Portland Timbers a 3-1 win over the San Jose Earthquakes in a decisive Decision Day, presented by AT&T, win. The victory punched the Timbers' ticket in the Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs as the sixth seed.
