Portland Thorns FC had multiple players shine for the U.S. Women’s National Team on Sunday, with four players — Crystal Dunn, Lindsey Horan, Adrianna Franch, and Sophia Smith — making appearances in the U.S.’s 4-0 win over Jamaica. Horan was one of the goalscorers for the U.S.
Dunn and Horan started their second consecutive match in the U.S. Women’s National Team’s Summer Series. Goalkeeper Adrianna Franch got her first start since the 2020 SheBelieves Cup and her fifth cap.
The U.S. were on the board in 24 seconds, the second-fastest goal in USWNT history. Rose Lavelle curled an in-swinging cross to the back post.
