Portland Timbers Midfielder David Guzmán snagged an assist on a beautiful set piece corner kick, headed in by a leaping Francisco Calvo in Costa Rica’s 1-1 draw with Canada during Tuesday night’s match in the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
With a win, either team could have secured firm control of Group A, but instead, the two leaders split the points with Canada now sitting in first thanks to a larger tally of goals scored thus far.
