The Portland Timbers signed their first-ever free agent today in acquiring midfielder Ned Grabavoy. Here are five quick things to know about the newest member of the Timbers.
-- Grabavoy has won some trophies in his career. He was co-captain for the University of Indiana during their 2003 NCAA College Cup championship run.
-- He is a two-time MLS Cup winner. His first came in 2005 with the LA Galaxy and then again as a teammate of Nat Borchers when the pair won it in 2009 with Real Salt Lake.
