For the second time this year, Portland Timbers midfielder Eryk Williamson has been called up for a 31-player training camp by the U-23 U.S. Men’s National Team in preparation for the Concacaf Men’s Olympic Qualifying Championship in Guadalajara, Mexico
This is the second time in 2021 that Williamson has been called into a U-23 USMNT camp, as he was called in along with Timbers forward Jeremy Ebobisse as part of more preparations for the Olympic Qualifying Championship. Williamson also participated in a 2019 domestic training camp for the U-23s back in 2019 and was a part of the 2017 U-20 FIFA Youth World Cup team.
