While the Portland Timbers open their 2016 preseason this Saturday at the adidas Timbers Training Center, midfielder Darlington Nagbe has already been keeping busy at the U.S. Men's National Team training camp in at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif.
Nagbe received his first cap with the USMNT earlier this fall and was part of head coach Jurgen Klinsmann's group called into the traditional January camp ahead of the national team's upcoming 2016 campaign. Klinsmann has been pleased with the group's work so far.
"It's a very positive vibe to it. It's a good group of players, a mix between senior national team group and the U-23 group so we have a lot of youngsters in there," he said.
