TEMPE, Ariz. – Portland women's tennis player Iva Zelic became just the fourth player in program history to be nationally-ranked as she came in this week at No. 108 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) National Singles Rankings.
Zelic has posted a 20-5 overall record this season, including a 13-1 record this Spring in dual matches at the top of Portland's lineup. The Zagreb, Croatia native is also 4-2 against nationally ranked opponents.
"Iva is having one of the best seasons in Pilot tennis history and it is great to see her get into national spotlight," said Portland head coach Filip Zivkovic.
