PORTLAND, Ore. --- Skyler Young, who brings 19 years of experience to The Bluff, is the new assistant coach for the University of Portland women's basketball program, announced head coach Cheryl Sorenson. Young spent the past three seasons as an assistant coach at Weber State.
"I'm honored to have this opportunity and want to thank Coach Sorenson," said Young. "Her vision and dedication to the success of Portland women's basketball on and off the court makes me excited for the journey ahead. I look forward to working with the student-athletes and to contribute to the team's success this season.
