PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Pacific Tigers broke a 2-2 tie with a run in the top of the 10th inning before holding on for a 3-2 win over the Portland Pilots to conclude a three-game West Coast Conference series on Sunday afternoon at Joe Etzel Field. The Pilots did get runner on with a two-out single in the bottom of the 10th, but reliever Justin Giovannoni was able record the final out to notch the save.
The Pilots (13-22, 1-11 WCC) took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the third inning after Grant Sutton led off with a double to deep right-center field.
