PORTLAND, OR. -- Volleyball assistant coach Betsy Sedlak has been chosen as one of UC Davis' 2018 CAAHOF inductees. Sedlak will be inducted into her alma-maters athletic hall of fame on Friday, October 12. Sedlak joins five other UC Davis alumni in being enshrined, including four other student-athletes and a former athletic director.
Sedlak's induction is well deserved: originally a transfer from the University of Oregon prior to the 2009 season, Sedlak starred at middle blocker for the UC Davis women's volleyball team for three seasons. The Pleasanton, California, native earned All-Big West Conference accolades each year, including first-team nods as a junior and a senior.
