SAN BRUNO, Calif. --- Portland junior Kaylie Van Loo landed on the 2015-16 West Coast Conference Women's Basketball All-Academic Team, while junior Hannah Mattson earned honorable mention. This is the second all-academic honor for both Van Loo and Mattson, who both landed honorable mention accolades last season.
Van Loo is a marketing major with a cumulative GPA of 3.70. The point guard is enjoying a breakout season for the Pilots, averaging career bests of 7.3 points and 3.9 assists per game. She ranks fifth in the WCC in both assists and assist/turnover ratio (1.4).
Mattson is majoring in biology and currently has a cumulative GPA of 3.
