LAS VEGAS, Nev. --- Ryan Kim homered for the Pilots and Beau Brundage finished with three hits, but the UNLV Rebels scored five runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to rally for an 8-7 win over Portland in a non-conference baseball game played on Wednesday afternoon at Wilson Stadium. The winning run came on a bases loaded walk.
Previously the Pilots (13-22) built and early lead, courtesy a five-run first inning. All nine Portland batters came to the plate during the frame, and Kim began the scoring with a solo home run, his third on the year.
