PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Portland Pilots held a 6-4 lead late into the game, but the Utah Tech Trailblazers hit a grand slam in the final inning to propel past Portland 8-6.
JT Landwehr (1-1) took the loss for Portland in the final inning. Ryan Rembisz got the start for Portland, posted eight strikeouts and just three runs allowed in five innings pitched.
In the batter's box, the Pilots were led by Jonas Salk, who went 2-for-4 on the day with two RBI's.
