FULLERTON, Calif. – The Cal State Fullerton senior backcourt of Kyle Allman Jr. and Khalil Ahmad combined for 47 points as the Titans posted a 79-64 victory over the Portland Pilots on Saturday night at Titan Gym.
Fullerton outrebounded Portland by a 44-22 margin and improved to 4-9 overall having played one of the most difficult schedules in the nation. The Pilots conclude non-conference play with a 7-8 record.
Sophomore guard Marcus Shaver Jr. led Portland with 17 points, while sophomore forward Jacob Tryon added a season-high 11 points off the bench.
Allman Jr. and Ahmad entered the contest averaging 36 points per game and nearly reached that by halftime.
