The Pilots continued their outdoor track season this week at the Bryan Clay Invitational, L&C Larry Byerly Invitational, and Mt. SAC Relays with exciting results.
A total of five Portland athletes competed at the Mt. SAC Relays on Thursday night, all running the 10,000 meter. Mie Nielsen and Chris Anderson came away with new personal records, running 35:08.67 and 29:27.93, respectively.
The same night, at the Bryan Clay Invitational, Zak Kirk and Jonas Gertsen ran the ninth and tenth fastest 10,000 meter races in Pilot history with times 28:43.79 and 28:45.60.
The second day of competition was highlighted by excellent 800 meter performances from the men and the women.
