SEATTLE, Wash. --- Jake Holcroft collected two more hits and drove in a run, Tracye Tammaro provided a pair of RBI's, and three Portland pitchers combined to hold the Huskies to just two hits as the Pilots edged Washington 3-1 on Tuesday night at Husky Ballpark. The win is the eighth straight for the Pilots, who improve to 11-1 on the year.
The 11-1 record is Portland's best start to a season since the 2010 team also won 11 of their first 12 games, and the eight-game winning streak is the longest since that same year.
On Tuesday night, both teams scored in the first inning, with Tammaro producing Portland's RBI.
