SEATTLE, Wash. – Seventeen Pilots competed on the opening day of the UW Invitational, with 10 athletes achieving personal records. Jonas Gertsen highlighted the day by clocking 7:55.68 in the 3000m, securing eighth place and recording the seventh-fastest time in school history.
Jillian Bremont kicked off the meet with a 10th-place finish in the 60-Meter Hurdles (9.73), while Mie Gam Nielsen also secured a top-10 spot in the women's 5000m, crossing the line in 17:27.89.
On the men's side, Gertsen led the way in the 3000m, with teammate Jonas Price joining him in the top 10, setting a personal best of 7:58.
