STANFORD, Calif. – The Portland Pilots made their mark at the Stanford Invitational, held at Cobb Track & Angell Field, delivering personal bests and two new school records.
Matt Strangio led the charge with a victory in the Men's 5000m, clocking a personal best of 13:24.14, setting a new school record.
The second school record of the night came from Jonas Gertsen, who finished 18th in the Men's 10000m with a time of 28:11.64 PR.
The Pilot men showed out in the 10K, with Jona Bodirsky (28:22.00) placing 4th in Section 2 and moving to third all-time at UP, followed by Jonas Price (28:33.
