PORTLAND, Ore. --- Portland senior forward Julie Spencer was named to the All-West Coast Conference Women's Basketball Second Team, while guard Haylee Andrews landed on the league's all-freshman team, it was announced on Tuesday morning. This is the second straight conference accolade for Spencer, who earned honorable mention last season.
Spencer, who originally hails from Chehalis, Wash., ranks fourth in the WCC in rebounding (7.9 rpg) and is sixth in scoring (15.4), and she led the Pilots in both categories. Spencer also registered a career-high seven double-doubles on the season, and she joined Portland's 1,000 career-point club.
