SAN BRUNO, Calif. --- Portland women's basketball juniors Darian Slaga and Julie Spencer both earned All-West Coast Conference Honorable Mention, it was announced on Tuesday morning by the league office. This is the first conference honor for both Slaga and Spencer.
Slaga is a guard originally out of Prescott Valley, Ariz., who is leading the Pilots in scoring with a 12.6 points per game mark. She's also connected on 36 three-pointers, and she's shooting a team-best .842 from the free throw line. Earlier this season, Slaga poured in a career-high 27 points, which came on 10-for-14 shooting, against Saint Francis.
