PORTLAND, Ore. --- Portland seniors Julie Spencer and Darian Slaga celebrated Senior Day with 20 points each as the Pilots cruised past the Pepperdine Waves, winning 85-63 in a West Coast Conference women's basketball game played on Saturday at the Chiles Center. Fellow senior Lisa Kaempf scored seven points, and all three were honored with a pre-game ceremony.
Spencer added a season-high 15 rebounds for her seventh double-double of the year. She connected on four three-pointers, while Slaga knocked down a pair from beyond the arc.
Haylee Andrews and Maddie Muhlheim were both clutch in the second half to help the Pilots (13-16, 5-13 WCC) pull away from the Waves (19-10, 12-6 WCC).
