PORTLAND, Ore. – Malcolm Porter scored a career high 17 points, but Portland struggled offensively in a 65-55 loss to the Pacific Tigers on Thursday night in West Coast Conference basketball action at the Chiles Center.
The Pilots (9-10, 1-3 WCC) entered the game ranked 24th nationally in three-point percentage (.379) but finished the night just 1-for-5 from beyond the arc. Portland shot just 33 percent from the floor as a team.
The Tigers (15-5, 3-1) have now won six games in a row against Portland and move alone into third place in the league standings.
