PORTLAND, Ore. --- Portland sophomore Emmanuel Roudolff-Levisse is the U.S. Bank Student Athlete of the Month for November after his phenomenal rookie season performances at the NCAA West Regional meet and NCAA Cross Country Championships.
Roudolff-Levisse started off the month strong at the 2017 West Regional, remaining in the top two spots during the entire race before finishing on top of the field with a time of 29:33.1 on the 10k course. The Pilot claimed Portland's first individual title since Trevor Dunbar, who was the last Portland runner to finish first in 2010.
At the NCAA Championships, Roudolff-Levisse's 11th place finish helped lead the Pilots place second overall, which is the program's best performance ever at nationals.
