PORTLAND, Ore. – Tyler Robertson scored 30 second half points and broke the Portland school record for free throws made (22) in leading the Pilots to a 98-91 win over crosstown rival Portland State Friday at the Chiles Center.
Robertson had just two points at the half as the game was tied at 42-42, but the Melbourne, Australia native erupted after intermission to finish with a career-high 32 points. He knocked down 22-of-24 free throws, establishing new records for both makes and attempts. The previous record(s) was held by Jim Winters who was 20-for-23 against Seattle U on Feb.
