PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Portland men's and women's cross country teams fared well at the Bill Dellinger Invitational on Saturday at Pine Ridge Golf Club, with both teams combining for a handful of PRs on the day.
In the men's 8K, the team totaled 182 points for fifth place in the team scores. Sophomore Justin Hazell finished first for the Pilots in 23:53.9, a new personal best which was good for 13thplace overall. Reuben Kiprono was next with his time of 24:16.0, and Portland newcomer George Duggan was close behind at 24:21.8. Joey Duerr and Joe Horen were Portland's last scorers, and crossed soon after at 24:31.
