SEATTLE, Wash. --- Portland created quality chances all night long against the Redhawks at Championship Field, but in the end Seattle U overcame an hour weather delay and the Pilots to prevail 2-0 in the Caffe D'arte Coffee Cup played on a wet Thursday night. Seattle scored a goal in the first half before adding another in the second.
The Redhawks (2-1-2) scored the night's first goal when they capitalized on a corner kick on the 18th minute. Declan McGlynn sent a low ball towards the near post, and Noe Meza got a touch on it to re-direct it towards the Portland frame.
