EUGENE, Ore. --- Juniors Lauren LaRocco and Taryn Rawlings both ran impressive races in their respective events on the second day of the 2018 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
LaRocco finished 15th overall to earn her fifth All-American honor of her career, while Rawlings claimed the final time qualifying spot in the 1500m semifinal to move onto the final race on Saturday.
LaRocco completed the 10,000m in 33:50.44, while Rawlings recorded a new personal best of 4:12.08 to improve the UP school record for the third time this season.
The 2018 Track and Field championships will continue tomorrow, with redshirt freshman Riley Osen competing in the 3000m steeplechase final at 5:54 p.
