CORVALLIS, Ore. --- The Portland Pilots women's cross country team competed at the OSU Beaver Classic on Saturday afternoon, in Corvallis, Ore. The Pilots ran an exceptional race, claiming the team title, led by redshirt junior Sophia Noto clinched the individual title in 22:18.7.
Junior Maddy Lyons, redshirt freshman Sofia Castiglioni, redshirt freshman Katelyn Schultz, and freshman Ellee Becker all produced top-10 finishes crossing the finish line in third (22:30.3), sixth (22:49.0), eighth (23:03.9), and tenth (23:26.2), respectively. Redshirt sophomore Alexandra Newsom, redshirt sophomore Emily Bechen, junior Natalie Smith, redshirt junior Karli Piaia, and redshirt freshman Savanna Craig also all finished within the top-30 to help secure the team title.
