NEW ORLEANS, N.M. --- The Portland men's cross country team is ranked No.3 in the first USTFCCCA National Coaches Poll of the year, while the Portland Women sit just out of the top-30, receiving votes at No.31. In the regional polls, the men rank No.1 in the West and the women No.7.
"The men have had a great summer and we are excited to see what we can accomplish this year," said men's head coach Rob Conner.
The Pilots return five of the seven runners that competed at the 2017 XC Championship meet, where Portland clinched the runner up spot coming second to NAU.
