PORTLAND, Ore. --- Portland is No. 1 on the men's side and ranks second overall in the initial West Coast Conference Commissioner's Cup Standings, it was announced on Friday morning. Portland totaled 31.5 points during the fall sports season, which is second only to BYU.
Portland earned 16 points to earn the top spot in the men's sports standings, which was helped by the cross country and soccer teams. Portland finished second at the WCC Cross Country Championships and senior Nick Hauger won the individual title. The men's soccer team advanced to the NCAA Playoffs, where they reached the second round.
