SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Henry Muench went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI's for the Portland Pilots in a 9-4 loss to the San Jose State Spartans on Wednesday.
Nolan Umlandt (0-3) started and took the loss on the mound for Portland (6-15). In the batter's box, the Pilots were led by Muench, who went 1-for-3 on the day with a home run and two RBI.
