PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Portland Pilots fell in their midweek matchup against the Washington Huskies 6-2.
Curtis Hebert (0-1) started his first game as a Pilot and took the loss on the mound for Portland (7-5). At the plate, the Pilots were led by Holcroft, who went 2-for-4 on the day with a triple, a walk and an RBI. Sophomore Zach Toglia furnished a noteworthy performance at the plate as well, going 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI. Junior Jake Tsukada also chipped in for Portland, putting together two hits in three trips to the plate.
