MCMINNVILLE, Ore. -- Portland Pilots Women's Cross Country opened their season with a win at the Linfield Harrier Classic, finishing first overall with 31 points.
The team was led by senior Teresa Perez, who finished second overall with a time of 13:54.55 in the 4,000-meter race. Following her, Stina Pettersson secured fourth place for the Pilots, crossing the finish line in 13:57.16. The scoring five for the Pilots also included Brionna Holso in sixth place with a time of 14:01.33, Tiahna Woodger in 10th at 14:33.42, and Katie Newton rounding out the scoring in thirteenth with a time of 14:40.
