STANFORD, Calif. --- The Portland Pilots men's and women's track and field teams set a handful of PR's and left their marks on the program record books with a solid night at the Payton Jordan Invitational at Stanford on Thursday. All four Pilots who finished set new PR's.
Lauren LaRocco, a redshirt-senior and seven-time All-American, ran the 5,000 meters, and she mobbed to a new PR of 15:55.60. She finished ninth overall in her heat, and her time is the third fastest in UP program history.
The Pilots then had five entries in the men's 5,000 meters, and Evert Silva, Caleb Webb, and Michael Teran-Solan each claimed a PR.
