PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Pepperdine Waves ended a 15-inning scoring drought for both teams when they plated a run in the top of the 16th, but the Portland Pilots responded by scoring two in the bottom of the frame to walk off with a dramatic 2-1 win to cap a three-game West Coast Conference series on Sunday afternoon at Joe Etzel Field. Devin Kopas claims the game-winning RBI as he drew a bases loaded walk in the final inning, which forced in the winning run.
The rally was needed after the Waves (16-15, 5-4 WCC) scored the game's first run in the top of the 16th inning.
