EUGENE, Ore. --- After the Ducks extended the game with a two-out, game-tying solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Portland Pilots scored two in the top off the 11th before holding on for a 9-7 win over Oregon on Monday night at PK Park. The Pilots collected 15 hits on the night, giving them a combined 32 hits during their last two games.
The extra frames were needed after the Ducks scored three unearned runs in the bottom of the eighth, and Kenyon Yovan hit the clutch homer in the ninth to even the score 7-7.
