The Pilots (4-3) jumped out early in the first set pulling ahead by a five-point margin with a pair of kills from Hannah Troutman and Katie Sullivan. The Roadrunners (1-8) rallied in the last few points of the set to bring them with in one of the Pilots, but Sarah Savoca and Brittney Markwith made a huge block to claim the final point and first set win.
