PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Portland Pilots women's rowing team will be in downtown Portland this weekend to compete at the annual Portland Fall Classic, which is scheduled for Sunday morning on the Willamette River. The Pilots will be racing six boats at the classic, beginning with the varsity eight.
"We return seven rowers to our varsity eight this year and we're racing six boats on Sunday, so with our experience and depth I'm excited to see what we can do," Portland head coach Pasha Spencer said. "Also this will be our first time back on a river after training all fall at Vancouver Lake.
