BELLEVUE, Wash. --- Portland's Jace McKinney had a triple and scored both runs, Jordan Horak struck out six in 4.1 innings of solid relief, and Connor Knutson collects his sixth save of the year as the Pilots blanked the Seattle Redhawks 2-0 on Wednesday at Bannerwood Park. The win gives the Pilots a sweep of the mid-week, two-game series, and Portland claims the season series over Seattle U as well.
Horak (1-2) and Knutson, along with starter Cameron Richman, combined to hold the Redhawks (30-17) to just six hits, while striking out 11 on the day. Horak, a senior lefty, gets the win, and the Pilots (19-26) register their third shutout of the year.
