McMinnville, Ore. -- The Pilots put on a show at the Linfield Erik Anderson Memorial Icebreaker, recording a total of 8 PRs for the night.
The pace of the race was kept honest from the start, thanks to a strong pacing by Matt Strangio who paced his teammates through 21 laps of the 25 lap race. Once Strangio dropped off, Teddy Buckley (Portland Unattached) took off and charged to victory in a time of 29:52.22. Buckley was followed by the Pilots first finisher, Leo Donlea, who finished in 30:19.74. The Pilots ultimately finished 1-6 if counting unattached athletes.
