PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland's home win streak at the Louisiana Pacific Tennis Center extended to 24 matches with a 4-0 sweep of Gonzaga in West Coast Conference men's tennis action Sunday afternoon. The Pilots improved to 6-5 overall and 1-1 in league play, while the Bulldogs dropped to 6-2 and 0-1 in conference.
The Pilots grabbed the early lead by winning the doubles point with wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions. Mathieu and Pierre Garcia teamed up for a 6-2 win at No. 2 against Vincent Rettke and Kyle Everly, while Carlos Donat and Jamie Fisher clinched with a 7-5 win versus Simon Homedes Dualde and Hunter Egger.
