Pilots Second in the Nation with 14 CRCA National Scholar Athletes

PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Portland Pilots had 14 rowers named Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) National Scholar Athletes, which is the second most in the country among all NCAA DI schools. It's also easily the most among West Coast Conference schools.

In order to garner national scholar athlete recognition, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better.

Portland's Jacquelyn Bass, Megan Del Pozzi, Marissa Frazzini, Sydney Gardner, Brooklin Gomez, Megan Medalia, Allison Palazzotto, Joselene Piedra Rodriguez, Tess Pritchett, Alondra Quiroga-Bernal, Mollie Rutz, Acacia Welsford, Lauren Yee, and Brianne Zbylicki were all honored by the CRCA.
